GRSE Recruitment 2026 Notification for 107 Officer Posts

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE), a premier shipyard under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released an official recruitment notification for the year 2025-26. This recruitment drive aims to fill 107 vacancies for various Officer cadre positions, including Executive Director, General Manager, Assistant Manager, and Junior Manager. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the following educational and age requirements as of 01 December 2025.

Educational Qualification

  • Technical Posts: Four-year full-time Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Marine Engineering, Civil, Production, or Naval Architecture with 55%-60% marks.
  • Finance Posts: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA).
  • IT Posts: Full-time Engineering Degree in any discipline or Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
  • Legal Posts: Full-time Graduate degree and a full-time LLB from a recognised institution.
  • Medical Posts: MBBS degree recognised by the National Medical Commission.
  • Other Posts: Relevant Graduate, Post Graduate, or Diploma qualifications as specified in the official notification.

Age Limit (as of 01 December 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 28 Years.
  • Maximum Age (General/EWS): Up to 56 years (varies by post level).
  • Maximum Age (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 59 years.
  • Maximum Age (SC/ST): Up to 61 years.

Salary and Pay Scale

Selected officers will receive a competitive salary package including Basic Pay, Industrial DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Government of India rules.

  • Pay Levels: E-0 to E-9.
  • Basic Pay Range: Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per month.
  • CTC: Approximately Rs. 99,000 to Rs. 4,95,000 per month depending on the grade and location.
  • Benefits: Performance Related Pay (PRP), CPF, Gratuity, Medical facilities, and NPA for medical officers.

Selection Process

The selection methodology for GRSE Officer Recruitment 2026 involves the following stages:

  • Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on their educational qualifications and relevant work experience.
  • Written Test: Applicable only for the post of Assistant Manager (E-1).
  • Interview: For all other officer-level posts, selection is primarily based on performance in the personal interview.
