BEML Limited, a multi-technology schedule 'A' company under the Ministry of Defence, is conducting a Special Recruitment Drive (9th attempt for Group A and 7th attempt for Group B & C) to fill backlog vacancies. Age Limit (as on 07-01-2026)

The upper age limit varies based on the grade and category. Relaxations are applicable as per government guidelines.

  • Grade VII: 50 years (SC/ST), 48 years (OBC)
  • Grade VI: 47 years (SC/ST), 45 years (OBC)
  • Grade V: 44 years (SC/ST), 42 years (OBC)
  • Grade IV: 39 years (SC/ST), 37 years (OBC)
  • Grade II / I / Wage Group S1 & B: 34 years (SC/ST), 32 years (OBC)
  • PwD Candidates: Additional 10 years relaxation (Max age 57 years).

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a first-class full-time degree or diploma as specified for each post:

  • Engineering Posts: B.E/B.Tech in relevant disciplines from a recognised university.
  • Finance Posts: CA/ICWA/CMA or MBA (Finance).
  • HR Posts: Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in HR/IR/Personnel Management/MSW/MA Social Work.
  • Diploma Trainee: Three-year full-time Diploma in relevant Engineering streams.
  • Office Assistant Trainee: Full-time Graduate Degree in any discipline.
  • Hindi Officer: Master’s Degree in Hindi with English at the degree level.

Salary & Allowances

Candidates selected for these positions will receive a competitive pay scale along with allowances such as VDA, HRA, Provident Fund, and Gratuity.

  • Dy. General Manager (Grade VII): Rs. 90,000 – 2,40,000
  • Asst. General Manager (Grade VI): Rs. 80,000 – 2,20,000
  • Officer/Engineer (Grade II): Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000
  • Diploma Trainee: Stipend of Rs. 17,000 in the first year; Pay Scale Rs. 23,910 – 85,570 upon absorption.
  • Office Assistant Trainee: Stipend of Rs. 20,000 in the first year; Pay Scale Rs. 16,900 – 60,650 upon absorption.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of the following stages:

  • Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria (Age, Qualification, Experience).
  • Written Exam: Applicable for post codes L036, L037, L038, and L039 to assess domain and reasoning ability.
  • Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards.
  • Document Verification: Verification of original certificates and credentials.

Important Instructions

  • Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates working in Govt/PSUs must apply through the proper channel or provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  • The qualification must be from a recognised university/institute with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD).
  • Incomplete applications or those without required document uploads will be summarily rejected.
  • The upper age limit relaxation is subject to a maximum of 57 years.
