Indian Army SSC Tech Women Recruitment 2026 Notification Overview
The Indian Army has officially released the notification for the Short Service Commission (Technical) Women - 67th Course commencing in October 2026. Age Limit (As on 01 October 2026)
- For General Candidates: 20 to 27 years. (Candidates must be born between 01 October 1999 and 30 September 2006, both dates inclusive).
- For Widows of Defence Personnel: Maximum 35 years as on 01 October 2026.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a B.E. or B.Tech degree in the notified engineering streams from a recognised university. Candidates currently in the final year of their Engineering degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they can submit proof of passing the examination by 01 October 2026.
Application Fee
- There is No Application Fee for any category of candidates applying for this recruitment.
Salary & Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹56,100 per month during the training period. Upon successful commissioning as a Lieutenant, the pay scale will be as follows:

Selection Process
The selection will be based on the following stages:
- Shortlisting of Applications: Based on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained up to the final semester/year of the Engineering degree.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a 5-day Service Selection Board (SSB) interview process at centers in Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a thorough medical examination.
- Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured in the SSB interview.

- Click on 'Officer Entry Apply/Login' and complete the 'Registration'.
- After registration, click on 'Apply Online' under the dashboard.
- Select the 'Short Service Commission Technical Course' and fill in the required details.
- Review the summary of information and click 'Submit'.
- Take a printout of the application form 30 minutes after the closing of the portal for future reference.
For Widows of Defence Personnel (Offline):
- Download the application form from the official website.
- Send the completed application and required documents to: Rtg ‘A’(TGC) section, Dte Gen of Rtg, AG’s Branch, Integrated HQ, Ministry of Defence (Army), West Block-III, R K Puram, New Delhi-110066.
Important Instructions
- Only unmarried female candidates are eligible.
- Candidates must not marry during the training period.
- Ensure the name and date of birth match the Matriculation certificate exactly.
- No changes are allowed in the application form after the final submission.
