Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate for UR/OBC-NC candidates and 50% aggregate for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Passing Year: Only those who completed their Engineering Graduation on or after 1st April 2023 are eligible. Candidates who graduated before this date are not eligible.

- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years

Salary and Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/-. The payment structure is as follows:
- Paid by HPCL: Rs. 20,500/-
- Paid by Government of India (via DBT Scheme): Rs. 4,500/-
Selection Process
The selection of Graduate Apprentice Trainees at HPCL will be based on the following stages:
- Merit Screening: Shortlisting based on the percentage obtained in the qualifying Engineering degree.
- Shortlisting Ratio: Candidates will be called for the next stage in a 1:5 ratio.
