This recruitment aims to fill 192 positions in technical trades at the Yelahanka, Bengaluru unit. Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of six months to one year depending on the trade.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Academic: Candidates must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
  • Technical: Must possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
  • Note: Engineering graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible to apply.
  • Employment Exchange: Registration with a local Employment Exchange is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates registered in Karnataka.

Age Limit (As on 01 March 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 15 Years
  • Maximum Age: 24 Years
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, and OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation as per government rules.

Stipend and Training Period

  • Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Electrician, etc.: ₹12,261/- per month (1 Year Training).
  • CNC Programming-cum-Operator: ₹10,899/- per month (6 Months Training).

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the Rail Wheel Factory Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be based on the following:

  • Merit List: Prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in 10th Standard / Matriculation.
  • Tie-Breaker: Older candidates will be preferred in case of equal marks.

  • Enclose the Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft of ₹100 (if applicable).
  • Include two recent passport-size photographs in a separate cover.
  • Submit the application in the designated drop box at the RWF office or send it via Registered Post to:

Important Instructions

  • No hostel facility or TA/DA will be provided during training or document verification.
