Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or its equivalent from a recognised board.
  • The Matriculation certificate will be the only document accepted as proof of age.

Sports Qualification

  • Candidates must have participated or won medals in International or National level competitions between 15th January 2024 and 15th January 2026.
  • Individual Events: Participation or medal in International tournaments recognised by IOC/IOA or medals in Senior/Junior National Championships.
  • Team Events: Participation or medal in International tournaments or medals in National Games/Championships as a playing member.
  • Minimum Marks: A minimum of 12 marks in the sports achievement evaluation is required to qualify.

Age Limit (As on 18th August 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 23 years
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).

Salary and Allowances

Selected candidates will be appointed as Constable (General Duty) with the following pay structure:

  • Pay Scale: Level-3 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 21,700 - 69,100).
  • Allowances: Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, House Rent Allowance, and other allowances as admissible to Central Government employees.
  • Pension: Governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS).

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in multiple stages to ensure only the most meritorious candidates are recruited:

  • Stage 1 - Scrutiny: Checking online applications and sports certificates. Only candidates with 12+ sports marks receive admit cards.
  • Stage 2 - Documentation: Physical verification of all original certificates and biometric capture.
  • Stage 3 - Physical Standard Test (PST): Measurement of height, chest (for males), and weight.
  • Stage 4 - Merit List: Prepared based on marks obtained in sports achievements.
  • Stage 5 - Medical Examination (DME/RME): Detailed medical assessment to ensure physical fitness for duty.
