Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026)
- General/UR: 25 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 28 Years
- SC / ST: 30 Years
- PwD (General): 35 Years
- PwD (OBC-NCL): 38 Years
- PwD (SC/ST): 40 Years
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a full-time B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) degree in the relevant discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical) from a recognised university.
- Minimum Marks Required: 65% aggregate (or equivalent CGPA).
- Eligibility by Year: Only students passing out in 2025 or 2026 are eligible. Candidates who passed in 2024 or earlier are not eligible to apply.
- Final year students appearing for exams in April–June 2026 can apply, provided they have 65% marks until the last declared result and secure 65% in the final degree by 01.07.2026.
Application Fee
There is no application fee for any category of candidates applying for EIL Management Trainee Recruitment 2026.
Salary and Allowances
During Training Period
- Stipend: Rs. 60,000/- per month.
- Accommodation & Transport: Provided by the company. If not provided, an additional allowance of Rs. 15,000/- per month will be paid.
On Successful Absorption
Upon successful completion of the one-year training and subsequent probation, candidates will be placed in the E-1 Grade.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000/-
- Approximate CTC: Rs. 20.10 Lakhs to Rs. 21.00 Lakhs per annum (depending on the place of posting).
- Benefits: Includes site allowances, leave encashment, medical facilities, and retirement benefits as per company rules.
Selection Process
The selection of Management Trainees at EIL involves the following stages:
- Shortlisting: Based on the valid GATE 2026 score in the respective engineering discipline.
- Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a GD.
- Personal Interview (PI): Candidates qualifying the GD will attend a Personal Interview, typically held at Delhi/Gurugram.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on GATE scores, GD, and Interview performance.
