Age Limit
Age will be calculated as of 14/12/2025.
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
Upper Age Relaxation
- SC / ST: +5 Years
- OBC: +3 Years
- PwBD: +10 Years
- Departmental Candidates: Upto 40 Years (if 3 years service rendered)
Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Education: Must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Domicile: Must possess a Domicile Certificate of the State against which the candidate has applied.
Application Fee
The fee consists of Exam Fee (Rs. 50) + Recruitment Processing Charges (Rs. 450).
- General / OBC / EWS (Male): ₹500/- (Total)
- SC / ST / Female / Ex-Servicemen: ₹450/- (Processing Charges only)
- Payment Mode: Online (UPI, Net Banking, Cards) or Offline (SBI Challan).
Salary & Allowances
The post of MTS (General) falls under Level-1 of the Pay Matrix.
- Basic Pay: ₹18,000 - ₹56,900
- Allowances: Special Security Allowance (20% of Basic Pay) + DA + HRA + Transport Allowance.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on two tiers:
Tier-I: Objective Exam (100 Marks)
- Subjects: General Awareness, Quant, Reasoning, English (1 hour duration).
- Negative Marking: 1/4 mark for each wrong answer.
Tier-II: Descriptive Test (50 Marks)
- Topic: English Language & Comprehension (Paragraph writing, vocabulary, grammar).
- Qualifying Marks: 20 out of 50.
