Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production): 3-year Diploma in Chemical/ Petrochemical Engineering or B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
- Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U): 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or B.Sc. with a Boiler Competency Certificate (BCC) or NAC in Boiler Attendant.
- Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation): 3-year Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Junior Quality Control Analyst: B.Sc. with Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety): 10+2 (Intermediate) with Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC Nagpur and a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
Age Limit (As on 31-12-2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 26 Years
- Upper age relaxation is applicable as per rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and 10 years for PwBD candidates.

Salary and Allowances
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 1,05,000/-. In addition to the basic pay, employees are entitled to Industrial DA, HRA, Medical facilities, Performance Linked Incentive, Gratuity, PF, and other allowances as per Corporation rules.
Selection Process
The selection process for IOCL Non-Executive Recruitment 2025 consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): A 100-mark objective test covering Subject Knowledge (75 marks), Numerical Ability (15 marks), and General Awareness (10 marks).
- Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT): This stage is qualifying in nature. Candidates will be shortlisted for SPPT in a 1:2 ratio based on CBT merit.
- Document Verification: Verification of original certificates and testimonials.
- Medical Examination: Candidates must meet the pre-employment medical standards of IOCL.
