Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a premier Public Sector Undertaking, is inviting applications from dynamic and qualified Indian Nationals for the post of Senior Executive Trainee (Direct Recruitment). This recruitment drive aims to fill 120 vacancies across the Telecom Operations and Finance departments. Candidates will be placed in the E-3 IDA pay scale and are required to serve a mandatory bond period upon selection.

Age Limit (as on 07-03-2026)
Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable as per Government of India rules:
- Unreserved / EWS: 30 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 33 Years
- SC / ST: 35 Years
- PwBD (General/EWS): 40 Years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 45 Years
Educational Qualification
1. Telecom Operations Stream
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in the following disciplines:
- Electronics and Telecommunication
- Electronics
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Electrical
- Instrumentation
- Combinations of the above branches
2. Finance Stream
Candidates must have successfully completed one of the following professional courses:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA)
Application Fee
The application fee must be paid online via Internet Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
- General / OBC / EWS Candidates: Rs. 2500/-
- SC / ST / PwBD Candidates: Rs. 1250/-
Salary & Allowances
Selected candidates will be appointed in the IDA Pay Scale [E-3] of Rs. 24,900 - 50,500/- (pre-revised). After the successful completion of the probation and training period, candidates will be designated as Senior Executive (DR) in the same pay scale with applicable allowances.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Multiple-choice objective test covering Aptitude and Technical knowledge.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on the merit list will be called for verification of original documents.
- Medical Examination: Candidates must meet the medical standards prescribed by BSNL.

- Register using a valid Mobile Number and Email ID to receive login credentials.
- Fill in the application form with accurate personal and educational details.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph (20-50 kb) and signature (10-20 kb).
- Upload necessary documents including 10th certificate, Degree certificate, and Category certificate (if applicable).
- Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the application for future reference.
Important Instructions
- Service Bond: Selected candidates must execute a service bond for Rs. 9 Lakhs to serve BSNL for a minimum period of 5 years.
- Probation: There is a 2-year probation period which includes 52 weeks of rigorous training.
- Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Posting: Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
