Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications based on the post applied for:
- Jr. Overman (T&S Gr-C): Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering with a valid Overman Competency Certificate (Un-restricted), First Aid, and Gas Testing certificates.
- Mining Sirdar (T&S Gr-C): 10+2 or Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering with a valid Mining Sirdarship Certificate (Un-restricted), First Aid, and Gas Testing certificates.
- Surveyor (T&S Gr-B): 10+2 or Diploma/Degree in Mining/Mine Surveying Engineering with a valid Survey Certificate of Competency (Un-restricted).
- Translator (OL) Clerical Gr. III: B.A. or equivalent with Hindi and English. A Diploma in Hindi Translation is preferred.
- Technician (Pathology): Diploma in Pathology from a government-recognised institute.
Age Limit (As on 06-04-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years (for General/EWS)
Age Relaxation:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- SC / ST: 5 Years
- PwBD (General): 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms

Salary and Allowances
The selected candidates will receive basic pay as per the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA-XI) along with other allowances such as DA, HRA, and medical facilities.

Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 Objective Type Questions.
- Section A: General Awareness/Aptitude (20 Marks)
- Section B: Technical Knowledge (80 Marks)
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (1:3 ratio) will be called for scrutiny of original documents.
- Medical Examination: Provisionally selected candidates must undergo an Initial Medical Examination (IME).
